Description
The Fiber-Coupled Photodetector (FCPD) is an advanced optoelectronic hybrid system, incorporating a broadband Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) photodiode. The InGaAs PIN photodiode is designed to respond to wavelengths ranging from 1000 to 1650 nanometers. LK-FCPD is capable of providing bandwidths of 1 gigahertz, 2.5 gigahertz, and offers customizable solutions with a maximum bandwidth capability of 8 gigahertz. The device is powered by a +5-volt supply voltage and is equipped with a standard FC (face-contacted) fiber-optic connector for optical input. The Radio Frequency (RF) output is facilitated through an SMA-compatible connector, which is impedance-matched to 50 ohms.
LK-FCPD is lightweight, less than 15 grams, which is advantageous for applications requiring minimal mass. The device is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2.0, ensuring that it meets stringent environmental and safety regulations.
